Aside from the high standard/quality of the photos (not just our laymen opinion but that of our photographer friends), we are really glad that we have pictures of everyone who was there. Before making the decision to have you as our photographer, we looked at many other photographers, and in doing so came across many whom claimed to be Reportage photographers. Our biggest difficulty in finding such a photographer was that many seemed to take random photos, rather than capturing relevant emotions (such as the teary eyed photo of Suraiya’s Aunties and the flower girl in the air). In addition to these photos, we are really pleased that you took the opportunity to prompt us to have important photos (such as those of Suraiya and her mum alone), that we would have otherwise missed, and regretted not having. All in all, we can’t put into words how happy we are with the pictures we have, as we not only have the candid, spur of the moment ones that we asked for, but the ‘classic’ wedding photos with your contemporary twist.
Clearly our experience of your service was not limited to the final ‘product’ but also the meetings/conversations beforehand, and afterward. It goes without saying that we found you to be professional, but having dealt with a number of service providers (in addition to photographers), we felt that one of the most important things where wedding services are to be provided is the personal touch. We felt that although this is your business and your livelihood, and you are no stranger to photographing weddings, that you actually cared about the day, and showed interest in the plans. Your package was the most transparent out of all those that we considered, and we really feel that it was both genuine and fair, and that you weren’t trying to take advantage wherever possible! The fact that you stayed well beyond the time originally discussed was further testament to your desire to do the best job that you could.
